I loved growing up in the 70s the no bra look and hair oh nevermind
Miniskirts, hiphugger jeans, and long flowing hair on the young ladies.
Oh yeah.
And by 75, the ‘look’ was at knee level and falling.
80s girls FTW. Hands down. Big hair, tight minis, 5 in. Stilettos and Boobs in their factory location.
And no Pachouli.
Well, I guess We had the 80’s beat.. Not a mullet or rt tail to be found!
And those bell bottoms that laced in the front but, particularly the ones that laced in the back...
I hairdressed for 42 years...best years of my life (1962 to 2004)...loved every day I went to work...made life long friends...
so different today but still a great career...
My daughter followed in my foot steps, only to work a few years, she wanted more money and less work!!!!
but she and I still ‘play beauty shop’ when we get together. she can still give a killer haircut.
