Below is a good link. It is in a movie related to baseball and to me is one of the best scenes in film.

It shows how foundational the love of a good woman can be to a man, even when unseen or distant. Watch it an give me your opinion.

I've always liked The Natural for its rich visual detail. I believe the "lady in white" scene is where Hobbs first sees Iris, so she's made to appear somewhat idealized... and distinctly the opposite of the woman that sidetracked Roy's career years before.

It's not a tear-jerker for me (though Field of Dreams is, at several points), but it's a solid film that I enjoy. It's an example of Hollywood actually improving on a book, too. That doesn't happen very often.
