Ever since I watched the first Escape from New York, it’s kinda how I see the city. A place to be strongly avoided. Not because of the movie, though.
And you are right. It’s the better of the two.

Why don’t they remake Escape from LA? That’s the one that sucked and should be remade better. It would need a complete re-write first. That film plays like a liberal's wet dream, trashing conservatives and evangelicals.
