I agree. Christians don’t go around murdering people like some Muslims do, except in the cases of Timothy McVeigh and the abortion clinic bombers, but they are indeed far less in nature and scope compared to some Muslims. But that isn’t what I was talking about. Again, should there be marches (or rather will there) where people temporarily suspend dislike for depictions of either in the name of supporting free speech?
Totally agree, our side never said that the "artist" of piss Christ did not have the right to do it or that he should be punished for it.
We were mad that that the NEA PAID for it with our tax dollars and no one was held accountable for their lack of judgment.

Right, the whole reason that this is an issue is because there is one group, and one group alone, who cannot tolerate the ideas of tolerance and freedom. That doesn’t mean the rest of us need to stop getting offended or angry at something designed to be offensive. We aren’t the problem, because we do not overstep boundaries and start killing people when we get offended.
Only the Muslims do that, and that is the problem, nothing else.

Indeed, the piss christ marches have been going on for a long time at the museum where it is displayed, like a sort of artistic mecca for atheists.
Besides, this is not about supporting atheism, this is about free speech in general. But they twist free speech into an atheist cult.
