Families sue Newtown school board, town for children’s deaths

What kind of person (other than Trayvon’s parents) says, “my child is dead, I wonder if I can make a profit from that”?

Sometimes it's some other motive. Maybe some parents suffered great financial loss.

This happened the day after my son's funeral on Dec. 12, 2012. I was afraid he might do something like this. In the weeks leading up to his suicide on Dec 5, we would talk about different things. I told him people hate people who kill themselves and take a lot of innocent people with them. He got irritated and said, "why does everybody and trailed off."

I felt like suing the police for wrongful death. His sister and I called them a total of 5 times desperately seeking help. Four of those times they ignored us and blew it off. The fifth time they called out a full swat team, then called them off.

I also felt like filing a suit (if I could get an atty) just to get the other side on my daughters' case in a dragged out lawsuit over his life insurance.

Anyway, shortly before he he died, (it's not rocket science) I said that these mass shootings were happening more often, like two per week. He replied, "you are going to see a lot more of them." To his dying day, he had one gun out of his gun safe on the final day (getting served divorce papeers was the last straw) and the others locked up. He wouldn't give anyone the combination (I had it at one time). Where was I going with this? I begged him twice to bring all the guns over to my house, and he refused.

The last day he had a gun tucked behind his back and answered the door to the police according to them. He told them he didn't have to let them in. And didn't. The police said he knew his rights.

I wasn't ever really afraid for myself but I am now afraid of my son-in-law. I don't go to family things ever since I found out he got his guns back after being committed about 5 years ago. Then my daughter gets a gun. I asked her how she could spend her brother's insurance money on another gun? She said her husband got it for her. She's not very emotionally stable.

The other night i heard some noises outside around midnight. I heard thumps, a couple male voices, so I had no choice but to go to the door. It was my son-in-law who had come to shovel my walk (the parts I didn't get done). I was upset because I thought it was the police coming to my door telling me something terrible had happened with someone else in my family.

So if I get asked why I am losing my temper lately, that is probably the reason. I feel trapped and like I should get away from them. I only thought later maybe my son-in-law had his gun on him that night. He has a concealed carry permit, and my daughter says he carries it everywhere he goes.

I think he does it to intimidate people and macho more than self-protection.

These disgusting parents just want to profit off the death of their children, and they do not care if they frame innocent persons.

Think they would have went for security guards long before the attack?
