The Delusion is very strong. They keep voting for candidates that they know will take the country to hell in a handbasket out of abject fear of candidates who they know will take the country to hell in a handbasket. And then they can’t figure out why the country is going to hell in a handbasket.

Glad it hit the mark. Personally, I don't understand why everyone can't see the trap at this point. Seems so obvious.
