(CNSNews.com) Hollywood, gay activists, and the media that cover them are crowing about Amazon.coms Transparent show getting the Golden Globe award for Best Comedy on Sunday.
To have the best new show of the fall airing not on a television network, not even on a cable channel, but on a service where you can also buy underwear, that is a revolutionary moment, Brian Stelter, CNN correspondent, said of the series.
The show, created by Jill Soloway, features three grown children and their father, who is a transgender woman. One daughter is married but has a lesbian affair. Another daughter likes S&M, illegal drugs, and three-somes. The son has multiple sexual relationships. There is much drinking, drug use, and sexual promiscuity and deviancy in the show.
In accepting the award, Soloway recognized her father, who is a transgender woman, and a transgender woman, who recently committed suicide, according to CNN.

Society might turn me into an evangelical Christian whether I like it or not. They (evangelicals) seem to be the only ones fighting this stuff anymore.

who is financing this and why isn’t it porn?

A truly disturbing image.

Well, it is porn, by some definitions.
Has it escaped your attention that porn has gone mainstream bigtime?
All this is, BTW, the downside of unlimited freedom of expression. A race to the bottom ensues. No way to stop it.
Which brings up the interesting question of whether free market and free expression societies might by their very nature eventually destroy themselves.

It's getting hard to avoid this stuff; it is being shoved in our face every day. I think that the Left - and its spiritual string-pullers in high places - know that this is an issue where they can isolate Christians from everyone else, so they keep pushing it relentlessly. It certainly gets a much higher degree of emphasis than it deserves.

I realized that after watching a couple of episodes of "Game of Thrones."

And this is the very reason the mooseslimes hate us, much of their hate is aimed at the filth out of Hollywood.

Even worse, the TV award went to a show about infidelity, something titled “affairs” or some such nonsense.

It does seem to be a race to the bottom, and you wonder where it will end. I suppose that the absolute bottom would be to have "snuff" films on mainstream TV. It seems impossible, but forty years ago gay marriage seemed impossible.

I'm glad they're playing Green Bay instead of Dallas, not that I don't respect Green Bay, but I though this might be Dallas's year.

There I have to disagree. Moslems “hated,” or at least violently attacked and conquered, non-Moslems over 1,000 years before Hollywood was ever heard of. Nor are their own societies free of perverse debauchery.

Hollywood studios entered the porno market in the early 70s (the era of porno chic) but stepped back as the decade wore on.
Now with the sexually charged culture (tweens getting their first porno exposure through the internet and MTV teaching young girls to dance like strippers working for that dollar), the studios are looking for the most crass culture to exploit once again.
