I like the way people stopped and helped the officer when he was down.
Honestly, that's just s recipe for disaster. One or two can help, but 10 cars stopping and folks walking across traffic is an accident waiting to happen.
For the life of me I do not know why folks can't drive past something like this without gawking.
Most seemed to be stopping to help out.
BTW, gawking is human nature. Even cops do it.
