Most seemed to be stopping to help out.
BTW, gawking is human nature. Even cops do it.
“Ran me over” and a rear tire rolling over your toe are two different things.
Reaching into the car was a stupid move. Stupid hurts.
Here is a follow up story:

lately, youtube sucks. Everything else flies, but many youtube videos just sit there for me.
BS, he was run over.
Next time someone burns out over your foot, tell me ya weren't run over.
BTW, gawking is human nature.
It's stupid and takes only a small amount of self-control to overcome.
And getting out of your car to gawk is criminal.
Only so many people are needed to help. Unless you the first on the scene or are a doctor, EMT or nurse, driving by is the better choice.
Next time someone burns out over your foot, tell me ya weren't run over.
It might sting, but I'm no drama queen.
Wow
Come on. It’s human nature, everyone gawks, cops too...
The trick is to be able to gawk/observe and still be aware of what’s going on.
Again, most seem to be stopping to offer help/assistance.
I wouldn’t get too excited here. Gawking started thousands of years ago.
Include in that event having your arm fractured and knocked to the ground by the window frame.
It might sting
Thanks for that. I needed it. That's the funniest thing I've heard in the past hour....
What a honking hoot......
Also there is a greasemonkey script that allows you to watch the video right here on FR.
Try this.

Yes, it’s good that people rushed over to help, humanity is still alive.
Cool website
Just looked up a guy I used to work with and seems he was arrested again just last March.
I had someone in front of me come to a full stop ON A FREEWAY ON-RAMP to watch someone change a tire. I had to honk at him to bring him back to reality.
This was in California, BTW.
Yes, people are stupid.
I installed that about a week ago and set it up as they said. I am able to now force it to load even when paused. But the real problem is that youtube videos come from different places. One will download in no time while another will sit there and rot for hours. It looks like youtube has hit its wall.
Now THERE is a dashcam video we all would like to see!
