Re the surgery — absolutely fine, really, except that it wasn’t that much of a success. It was a debulking rather than removal because the tumor is wrapped around the carotid artery. It’s benign and they never turn to cancer, but it releases hormones so there are some unfun side effects. But I am fine. Thanks. At least I am a woman - men get this and the hormone is not a male hormone so it would be worse if I were male! (Please don’t ask me whether it would be bad or good for Bruce Jenner because they don’t pay me enough to figure that one out....) ;)

LOL! I don't think there's enough hormones in the world to help Bruce Jenner--btw, what is up with the news coverage of him/it? It's like there's nothing going on in the world except his precious sex change. I DON'T CARE!
But I do care about you, my friend. Saying the surgery wasn't a success is alarming, but at least it was successful in shrinking it if not removing it. Prayers will continue for your full healing. (((I'm truly glad you're doing okay)))
