I have to watch just to see Blake.....but, the talent is soooooo much better!

Great chemistry between judges, and vastly improved once CLO left.

Like to see the judges perform individually, and then with their teams.

Guest coaches are usually good choices, and offer some really constructive
advice.

Battle rounds often are best part of show....

The Voice, while still offering some moments of snark, is really a good show. You do learn a lot about what makes a song good. If anyone on this thread has never seen it, watch one episode, especially about now when they are in battle rounds.

Adam and Blake are very smart and quick verbally. They have this hate love bromance going on that is very funny to watch. They try to crack each other up with their insults and it is funny to watch them succeed. Blake is completely open about what’s in his cup (unlike Pauler, lol!) and in interviews admits he drinks plenty during the tapings. I doubt he is buzzed for the coaching parts, but he is pretty funny during the chair parts.

Between them is a Blonde chair and an African American chair (not called such but that is what it seems to be) - these people have changed season to season. The first AA was Ceelo Green, and he chose to leave after a few seasons, I believe there may have been an IQ problem. He couldn’t vocalize his criticism well, not could he come close to keeping up with the repartee.

Christina Aguilera is the first and current in the blonde chair, and she is ok except that she just had a face change and now looks like Laura Dern. This is only in this week’s episodes. Don’t know what she did that for as she was attractive before. And post new baby she is now keeping her giant “puppies” under wraps - it was so garish before like a hooker with them on squished display every night. Last season they had Gwen Stefani, who is bright and beautiful and well dressed.

In the AA chair they have had Usher, who is very confident and personable. But now they have the Top of His Game (if $7 million poorer) Pharrell Williams in the AA chair. He is probably smarter than the other two combined and very good at attracting teammates - probably also because he is such a huge producer.

It’s a great show and the talent is VERY talented. Even the people who don’t get any chairs turned around (the chair turning blind auditions are over for this season) tend to be better than some of the current top whatever on Idol. Sometimes the judges are sad they didn’t turn around but they are holding out for really talented singers.

Yes, there are sob stories. OF COURSE. What is a reality show without sob fest stories????
