I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot a 1911 chambered in .460 Rowland. I have heard that the rigid steel frame and the narrower back strap makes felt recoil significantly more pronounced than in in the wider polymer framed Glock. Between the polymer, the wider grip, and the Lonewolf compensator and 24# recoil spring, I could shoot this thing all day. I have been holding off shooting it until I get a decent brass catcher though. I hate losing my brass.
Lol...I’m actually looking forward to the experience, but bear in mind I’m 5’11” and 295 lbs w/very meaty hands, and a hard-core recoil junkie maniac. When another pal of mine picked up a BFR in 45/70, I was the nutball who showed up with 300 rounds to “put it through it’s paces”. I’m stupid like that lmao
