Boo-yah....wasn’t it the You.S. Marines?
The word was LA gang speak for the sound a shotgun makes when you dispatch a rival. So, basically, Stuart’s “style” was the dumbing down of commentary by using urban street slang. Sorry he succumbed to a horrible illness, but I never cared much for the way he, Jim Rome, or Stephen A. Smith used “hip” lingo to communicate.
thats what I thought..Must be some Marines on here that can verify that
Found this link the pics in left had column explain the different versions of Boo yah

“Boo-yah....wasnt it the You.S. Marines?”
The Marine saying is, “Hu-Ah”, spelled “HUA”, which is an acronym for “Heard, Understood, Acknowledged.”
You’re thinking of BOHICA.
“Boo-yah” is a slang term originally used by gangs to mimic the sound a shotgun makes.
