I don’t automatically accept the theory of Atlantis in South America, but the massive evidence of canals (terra-forming?) is quite stupendous.
That is very true, the word stupendous barely covers it.
Now if the author had only thought a moment before jumping to a mathematical conclusion which is clearly nutso, to use a scientific word.
Nonetheless, I think the real story would still be stupendous.
There are terraces all over the Andes. It seems like there must have been a much larger population to require all those terraces, or people have lived there for a very, very long time. Do you happen to know if salts build up in terraces over time, making them eventually unviable?
