Yes! I read that “Hadassah,” is Hebrew for Myrtle, but I don’t know that to be fact.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esther

According to Esther 2:7, Esther was originally named Hadassah. Hadassah means “myrtle” in Hebrew. It has been conjectured that the name Esther is derived from a reconstructed Median word astra meaning myrtle.[4]

I read that “Hadassah,” is Hebrew for Myrtle ...

This is true ... the "myrtle" being a highly regarded flowering tree, not "that weird name of my great-aunt." Non-canonical sources say that Hadassah was the Hebrew name of the Jewish heroine Queen Esther. "Esther" is a Persian name, a variant of "Ishtar."

It is Queen Esther’s other name. If you check back, Sarah loves the story of Esther, and has used the phrase “for such a time as this”, I think. Also when Andrea Mitchell was stalking her clear to the fishing boat after she resigned, she said, “well, politically speaking, if I die- I die.” She also has mentioned telling Piper the story of Esther.
