Lots of pretend conservatives on FR are closet libs and know it. Some don't. Don't know you Altariel. But I've lived long enought to recognize the pattern and wording of some of your sentences. I-think-you're-right bump. Score one for the home team.

I cringed when I saw this on FaceBook. Im so sorry Sarah posted it. This one should have remained in the family album. Their sweet dog is very tolerant and obviously not hurt in anyway, but kids have to be taught to treat pets with love and care. Instead of a photo, I would have been smacking and lecturing my kid.
That surprises me a little, onyx. (Not your kid and you may or may not have smacked Trig as you think you might.) I thought you realized she is a great deal shrewder lady than that. (She stops wild game cold and can prepare them for the freeze.) She's one keen observer of current events and still owes a lot of people a lot of grief. Instead, she takes it ALL on herself...like Someone Else in History did.
And Sara's gibes at the idiots and near-idiots are well-deserved, well-timed, and well-placed.
Perhaps this is one way of her saying she doesn't want to run for office in 2016. Perhaps...not at all.

“Public Skool (sic) psychologist, I presume? A couple of degrees (free) from sttae (sic) university; union creds (sic); and absolutely no experience with real children in the real world.”
1. At that time, Assoc. School Psychologist.
2. Two degrees (NOT FREE)
3. No union - Texas doesn't smile on unions.
4. Reared two children of my own who are successful in the “real” world. Taught elementary school "real" children for six years.
5. Psychologically tested, counseled “real” children and their parents who live in the “real” world.
6. Later, in private practice.
Over 30 yrs. experience.
You said, “no experience with real children in the real world.”
Perhaps you have robot children in your life - I never met one.

What a harsh reaction, both to these sweet photos, and what you would have done to your kid.

Onyx, yeah, right...smack and lecture a DOWN SYNDROME kid for playing with a dog specifically trained to be his companion.
Sheesh.....
To: C. Edmund Wright; ansel12
You know what? I said MY kid, NOT Trig, and I addressed this the other day, on at least this theread or one other. You and trouble maker ansel12 can take a flying leap.
I do not aprrove of kids using dogs as stepping stools and like I also said, the photos would have better served remaining in the family album.
Sheeesh, yourself.

you have to wake up tomorrow and be you.....sorry bout that.
To: onyx
Wow, that sounded harsh, and angry, I think I understand now why you offered the advice for Palin that you did.
I totally disagree with you, and I worry about you whacking your kid instead of just explaining to him, but at least you made it clear where that kind of thinking comes from.

Thanks. Maybe she can learn to not be so trusting and to not help the conservative movement out so well next time. :-)
That little smilie made all the difference in changing your exquisitely snotty and slobbery comment into a joyous celebration of something or another.
Who can tell what anyone on this thread really means.

So Sorry, I’d have gotten back to you earlier, but I was standing on my Black Lab. ;) Seriously, if I stood on her head, she’d never feel a thing. She is a hard headed little girl.

I just read the comments made to you from the two “okay to step on dogs” guys and my comments were in the same vein as yours. I have a Yorkie - would he think she would also make a good stepping stone? I would not let my kid, Down Syndrome or not, step on any flavor of dog. I hope you are doing better - I am getting over the flu.
