Or maybe because I work in healthcare and see kids in the ED whose parents were idiots. Tons of dogbites and most were preventable. Plenty of other injuries that were preventable as well.

Anyone who thinks having a child use a dog for a stepstool to wash dishes is a good idea is completely ignorant. Rather than admit it is a bad idea, a bunch of freepers are making this into politics.
