I’ve been missing on FRee Republic all this month. Computer problems and not going on my computer has been a hassle for me.
Last I wrote was on New Years Eve. On New Years Day I had Surprise birthday party. I was overwhelmed - my twin brother showed up with my two sisters and lots of cousins and friends. Tears flowed as I saw everybody. My wife arranged the party and I had no idea.
I’ve been making several trips to the VA in Palo Alto for the ALS treatments. Turns out ALS is a service connected injury. Over time I’ll loose most of my bodily functions.

A Belated Happy Birthday to you and your Brother. I’m so sorry we could not make it to your Birthday Party. We had hoped to be there but I had so much going on after my niece died unexpectedly that there was just no way.
So happy that you were surprised and that a great time was had by all. Thank you again for your service. I am so happy to see that the VA is stepping up to the plate. You deserve their help.
