They look like High School playing college team in the Bowl game.
Stoops looks like a deer-in-the-headlights on the sideline
24-7 Arkansas at halftime.
Big 12 looking pretty bad today, makes picking Ohio State over TCU/Baylor look more and more like the right call.
Stoopes claimed that they were better than the SEC. I guess they’re only better at running their mouths! Ha! Ha!
“Stoops looks like a deer-in-the-headlights on the sideline”
Color Stoops gone. Those Okies won’t tolerate that kind of football.
If the Big 12’s marquee teams, UT and OU don’t start stepping it up, the Big 12 is finished. Having Baylor and TCU and your standard bearers isn’t going to cut it, with the blue-chippers.
I wasn’t sold on Bielema. Apparently I was wrong. The Hogs may be challengers next year.
The worst part of this whole thing is that they got blown out by a team from a weak as heck conference...I had figured that Clemson’s 9-3 record would have translated to about 2-10 in a conference like the Big-12...
Yep, the pieces are coming into place very nicely.
I still believe that it was criminal that neither Baylor or TCU made the playoffs...They were really good 1-loss teams and they probably both could have smoked any team from any conference with the exception of the mighty SEC...
If you had to rank the 5 power conferences, the Big 12 comes out dead last, as today has clearly shown, so it stands to reason they were the conference left out of the playoffs.
A whopping 28 yards of total offense for Texas through three quarters.
They’re not trying to play Australian rules football, are they?...
That’s now a combined 71-13 UT and OU have been outscored today.
“If the Big 12s marquee teams, UT and OU dont start stepping it up, the Big 12 is finished.”
No “if” about it, the Big 12 is dead. It’s demise began with the SWC breakup and Arkansas was not guaranteed a slot in the upcoming Big 12. Then, loosing Nebraska, Missouri, and A&M. All four marquee programs doing well - except Nebraska which is a misfit in the Big 10.

Yep, the last 3 times the Big 12 played Rose Bowl or what the sportscasters call ‘the granddaddy of all bowls”, the Big 12 defeated the Pac12 and Big10.
They just do not want them on the big stage to upset their little party.
That was then this is now.
Very poor showing yesterday from the Big 12. And now it is thought of as the worst of the power conferences, which will not help recruiting.

Well, let’s just see if the Big10 can do any better. At this point they have one team that squeaked out of victory and one that went down hard a Louisiana Tech, a real perennial powerhouse. OSU will lose bigtime to UA
I suspect they will be a regular basket case when it’s all said and done, and TCU, Baylor and KSU will have victories.
TCU does have to go against the greatest football conference known to mankind...KState should win as they play daBruins from out west from the conference I like to call, Big-12 Lite...Baylor has probably the easiest game of the three as they play The Spartans...who really do not know how to play in a big game...They think that the 4th quarter is for running out the clock...We’re behind, does that matter?...
“TCU does have to go against the greatest football conference known to mankind...”
after watching the greatest mismatch in all the bowls, I wonder how you now think about the SEC?
After all, the team they murdered today beat the best in the SEC.
and TCU lost to just one team, ranked #5 in the country, in overtime as a visitor.
The new championship series is a joke as the best team apparently was not invited.
Is it true that there are ten teams in the Big 12, and fourteen teams in the Big 10?
It’s been a while since I followed Division One CFB.
It’s quaint that you think that by beating ole’ Miss, TCU is the best in the country...By beating ole’ Miss TCU has earned the right to be considered as one of the best...Until someone hangs a loss on the Seminoles, my money is on them...
