It was unfortunate, but predictable given her determination to run out in the street. This new dog isn’t catastrophically neurotic.

You have had a hard time in life but still have so much love. I’m proud to know you.

They are much like Border Collies in that they *need* to work, almost 24/7.

I’ve known people who tried to keep them as house dogs but it was never quite as successful as say, a poodle.

Woofie was an outside dog and his constant job was amusing me.

I was only about 5 or so and never got to ask dad why he kept giving “my” dogs away.

I suppose he only told me they were mine so I’d tend to them and then he grew tired of them...or something.

And thanks for the kind words.

I’m a little teared up, here.
