It seems to me that those who scream the loudest about hating police are the ones who do the most to justify police aggression.
Their Chicago 68 moment is coming and it won't be pretty but they will have earned it.

Agreed— but threatening them in words and/or actions is crossing way over the line.

Doesn’t work on the root of the problem. I have had roaches. Diazanon worked great, but Janet Reno banned it.

They sure have a lot of fear to go with their fancy toys.

I would say that liberals give lip-service to being anti-police. They’re perfectly content to use the police for their own ends.

The anti-police hysteria is only part of an effort to nationalize law enforcement. Because local and state police just can’t handle it or are too racist.

The militarization of police is part of an effort to nationalize law enforcement.
Or did you suppose that the Feds were giving military gear and funding to local and state police with no strings attached?

The NYPD and their propagandists (I am looking at you Heather Macdonald) are merely following Rahm’s dictum to never let a crisis go to waste, even though there is NO crisis of police officers being targeted. Some mental case murders two officers and it all of a sudden becomes a conspiracy to necessitate the militarization of the police.

This thread gives me hope that FReepers aren’t all idiots.
Wish I could say as much about “conservative” media.

In this case, I’m for it. As a general rule of thumb, of course not. When you have active threats aimed directly at your police force, there is no quarter. There must be rule of law, or there is no law.
