I went shopping for bargains early this morning, just getting home. The Christmas departments with their 50 percent off sales looked a bit tatterdemalion.

I’ll get my perfume and pet stuff on the internet over the weekend, and check to see if Home Depot has any internet-only specials for stuff I can use at work. There is not enough money in this world to get me into the 4x4 to drive 50 miles to the nearest mall or 30 miles to the nearest bigbox packed with women pawing over stuff like fishwives, pushing around screeching, sneezing esquincles in carts-anyway, I need my gas to go to work...
