Browsers: IE11 uses Adobe Flash Player (at least on my system). Google Chrome uses HTML5.

It’s been my experience that Adobe Flash is buggy when it’s not updated. Worse, if you had the bum rush of Windows updates applied this past week and your player was already out of date, you may have created the problem by not letting the updates run (been there, done that myself).
You can go here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
to update Adobe Flash Player if you’re using Internet Explorer (IE).

I have so many browser problems these days on different websites that I installed Google Chrome as an alternate browser (the others, Opera etc., don’t seem to work as well). I’d recommend Chrome if you don’t have it.

If you have another browser to try, my bet is you would have sound.
Hopefully the update fixes it since you’re in IE.

Merry Christmas!
