A teenager was shot dead by another shopper after he tried to rob him of his limited edition Nike Air sneakers at gunpoint. Jawaad Jabbar, 16, of Middletown, Ohio, had traveled to Dayton Mall in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday to buy a pair of the popular athletic shoes. But the shop sold out of them and the teenager became desperate to get hold of a pair. Police said the teen along with two friends spotted two men outside one of whom had just bought a pair of the sneakers and pulled a gun.

Ok; that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
Does anyone know the crime stats for this particular brand of shoes?
Since all air jordans are not the same size, what made these would-be thieves think the shoes were going to fit?
They’re all too large! Commonly worn with a couple thick socks: one half-way up the ankle, the remaining length layed above the foot, under the tongue. The second sock is rolled into a cylinder and placed in the toe of the shoe.
It’s to give the impression that their penises are as large as they say they are.
That’s truth.
It has been my observation that criminals of all colors do this. There is a correlation with the habit, and criminal depravity. They have very small feet, as a rule. I’m applying for a Federal study grant....and organizing an NGO to study the problem and offer solutions to combat this injustice in life’s unfair lottery.
Taking suggestions......
Just buy New Balance shoes and you’ll be bothered by about as many Trayvons as you are likely to run into at a classical music concert or a Shakespeare festival. New Balance shoes seem to be Cracker shoes.
I have a pair of those. Mrs. L got them for me on my birthday a couple of years ago. I love them.
Converse All-Stars. They were everywhere in 1972onwards.
What’s wrong with a nice pair of Zips.
I remember having them as a kid, probably the first sneakers I ever owned and thinking I could jump 20 feet in the air ha ha.
