A restaurant in an Australian town has sparked reactions that range from outrage to praise after placing a “Sorry, No Muslims” sign outside its front doors , according to various media reports.
The sign was handwritten on a chalkboard displayed outside the Eagle’s Nest Bar and Grill, a restaurant located in the Queensland, Australia town of Longreach.
Australia’s Brisbane Times reports that on Nov. 19, Longreach local Helen Day posted pictures of the sign on the restaurant’s Facebook page and wrote:
Just a bit surprised to see the sign up [reading] “Sorry No Muslims” … what’s that about? I certainly won’t be going into a place where my Muslim friends are not welcome!
The Brisbane Times notes that the full message on the sign read, “2000 years ago Jesus Christ made headlines turning water into wine…the tradition continues…We turn money into beer (Sorry No Muslims).”

The female called Helen Day claimed to have posted the following:

The Koran forbids Muslims to have non-Muslim friends. What she assumes to be friends who have a ‘different’ religion, are just Muslims using the infidel “piece of meat” or they are apostate.
No dingos,no Muslims,no problem!
Such signs should be all over in Western culture especially any port of entry.

A lot of Westerners also thought that they had “Muslim friends” in Syria, just to have their heads sent home in a shoe box.
If it’s anything like our Chick-fil-a phenomenom, he may get rich..

They misspelled “muslime.”
Islam is not a religion.
Back that up with pork on the menu and the suicide bombers will go elsewhere.

I've spent plenty of time in the hotel bars of Bahrain and Dubai and I can assure you, they drink. They're sinners just like the rest of us.
I tried to pull out my cell phone camera at a "Russian bar" in Bahrain to film a dress-wearing Muslim who was making a big scene, falling over drunk and pawing at the dancing girls. Security wagged their finger at me, politely indicating "no". I complied.

I didn’t say they don’t drink booze, I said they aren’t supposed to be drinking it. If they are drinking in spite of their religion, then they don’t really have any case that their religion is so important to them that they can take offense at the sign.
I doubt the sign bothers them as much as it bothers white liberals. I wonder if the Muslims take any offense at all. If you go to a Islamic country, you'll find plenty of "public" facilities that are reserved for Muslims only and off-limits for everyone else. Segregation is nothing unusual for Muslims.
