Houston, TX A completely innocent man was shot, tasered, brutally beaten, and had stun grenades thrown at him by vicious and incompetent SWAT officers. Then, those same officers tried to cover up their mistake by charging the victim, Chad Chadwick, with six criminal offenses including felony assault on a police officer.
This incident happened in 2011, but it has taken Chadwick three years and his entire life savings, to finally beat the charges that he was falsely accused of. Last month, a jury found Chad Chadwick not guilty of interfering with police. With tears in their eyes members of the jury offered the exonerated defendant comforting hugs, according to My Fox Houston.

I guess My Fox Houston must be a lefty source as well to some here.
The good cops far outweigh the bad cops.
Just sayin’
Of course. No one disputes it.
But cops acting like thugs makes them a criminal element.
A bad cop at worst can deprive you of your life; at best he can deprive you of your freedom and good name.
Cops are human and they sometimes do make mistakes but there are those who won’t owe up to them because they will lose face or worse and have no incentive to do the right thing.
The bad ones will create a crime where none exists to cover up their own mendacity/incompetence. Lazy police work is easy - the kind of police work good cops do is on another level altogether.
There have been monumental liars throughout history that used a little truth to sweeten their poison. There just happens to be an effort under way to try to provoke a civil war and it should come as no surprise anarchists are getting into the act trying to spur on both sides by feeding them anything, fact or fiction, needed to trigger the war so they can achieve their secular anarchic utopia.
A civil war is what some want even though the last one cost us dearly and is still costing us to this day.
Oh yes, that’s so true! But we just don’t know when we would be next.
“Free Thought Project, so-called, is not trustworthy.”
Why shoot the messenger? Seems like this Chadwick case could easily be verified...
I’m ready
Ok, I chose the wrong site then. I had two and I just chose one. I’m sorry.
I didn’t know, but there are other links to hear about this that are not this site.
That is good and well, however if you disagree with anything the police do, such as the shooting down of children who answer a knock on their door, or the shooting of someone who reaches inside their vehicle to get their driver’s license after being ordered to, according to the jackboot lickers, you are a cop hater.
Ok, it’s a not the best site. But THE STORY Piasa. This happened. Did his nose not get broken? Did his hearing not get permanently damaged? Did he not lose his life savings defending himself against these bogus charges? That’s what I’m looking at.
Ok, we got that it’s the pits as a site. Thank you for telling me and all of us and I’ll never post from that site again.
Welcome to the club.
Thank you, but I don’t care to read anything else from him. I’m too busy reading about this Chad guy...you know, the one that got attacked and beaten for nothing?
Hmm, that woman who got arrested (falsely) for taking pictures at a public site got over a million. He should get more. I’d willingly chip in for this one. Egregious abuse by these cops!!!!!!
Just sayin
Nully says: True. But it's too bad the good cops close ranks and support and enable the bad cops.
Just saying'...
“To this date, none of them have faced any disciplinary action.”
Even if the victim sues them it will be the taxpayers who will foot the bill. And those cops will be just as eager to do this again to someone else.
It’s no wonder that people are fed up with the politicians and law enforcement.
Can’t say that I hate all cops but it sure seems like there are more and more that deserve it. Can’t remember the last time I had a friendly chat with a cop that I didn’t already know.
. The problem goes beyond dirty cops in that the so-called "good cops" protect dirty cops by participating in the "blue wall of silence." If cops wants to regain the respect of the American public, then they should adopt the same honor code that governs our military academies: "A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do."
Could not have said it better!
