It is a win-win for revolutionistas who have no fear of a lukewarm and emasculated people in a fundamentally transformed civil society. Because we have waited so long to prevent where we have arrived, the moment we react and resist the tyrants and their agitators - the iron fist comes down. AND - if we do not react and resist, they still put the chains of our own demise around our throats.
More dangerous to us than a power-mad maniac, is a narcissist with visions of punishment and destruction of a society he hates dancing in his head. A bloodbath would be welcome by such, which is why he is constantly attempting to goad one. It matters not which side does the bloodletting. People will surrender everything they have left for the vain promise of a return to normalcy.
