I don't put my name out there. My friends can email or text me. But social network is a good way to get fired, divorced, arrested. If government agencies want to do a search on you, they can and will...but there is no need to make their jobs any easier for them.

I’m not that certain that any email you send or post you make on Free Republic isn’t scrutinized by the powers that be. In fact, they probably are. I guess the question is this, “Am I willing to oppose tyranny by speaking out in any way I can regardless of the threats and intimidation of the government?”
