British actor Idris Elba could be the first black James Bond, according to more leaked e-mails from Sony Pictures.
Idris should be the next Bond, Sony Pictures chief Amy Pascal wrote nearly a year ago in an e-mail to Elizabeth Cantillon, a former executive vice president at Columbia Pictures.
The leaked e-mail, reported by the Daily Beast, is from a trove of private e-mails, salary reports and bits of script and rough footage swiped and released by hackers believed to be from North Korea.
Current Bond actor Daniel Craig is signed on to one more James Bond installment, Spectre, due out on Nov. 5, 2015.

OK. Thanks.
Dump PC! The black Annie will not make money—nor will a black Bond. Such things will get you an invite from the White House but, but it will not make the millions Hollywood needs to survive.
Only a matter of time for a lesbian Jamie Bond
Nope—Hollywood is all about the Bucks—they may make a few “Breakback Mountains” once in a while but—if people reject the films they will not make them or any more like them.
Getting old is the understatement of the year. They do it as a huge f-you to us on purpose. It is planned, and then they present it coyly as if they “have no idea what you’re talking about... you’re just crazy.”
Like all trusts or families of once great people/families, I’m sure they will be all about it and super excited.
Even the families of our once great American icons of capitalism are communist, for example.
I like the Roger Moore movies. I’m only 33, but watching them on TV when I was young was great.
If his James Bond is anything like his Martin Luther, I wouldn’t expect much ...
Well, the problem, as Ms Pascal pointed out, is that non-American audiences don’t go to movies with a black leading man. This is non-USA is it’s not our fault.
That’s why they said Denzel Washington is screwed.
Hollywood does’t care about US sales anymore compare to WORLD sales. That’s where the big money is an they are racist.
WTF? LOL.
I love it.
