You’d think they make up half their high schools these days. There was no LGBT-whatever in my high school class which, imo, further proves it’s a fad and ginned up by those who crave attention.
We had those we were suspicious about. Of my class of '87 (400 students), I can count exactly one lesbian and no sodomites that have come out (that may have changed in the last 17 years, I haven't kept up). I was actually good friends with the lesbian in Jr. High and High School. I think there were issues early on (no one ever mentioned molestation, but these days, it seems to fit). She suffered from anorexia between 9th and 10th grade, beat that, then suffered from being overweight in H.S., then normalized weight-wise after H.S., last time I saw her in person, she'd come out (10-year reunion in '97).
Last I heard of her, she was fighting for gay marriage in Idaho.
Over 20 years ago my English class once had a discussion on homosexuality. I said something similar to your comment. The teacher laughed and called me a redneck. I had to ask my mom what that meant when I got home. The sexual perversion fad has only gotten stronger and weirder.
