When I walk into any movie, I hope it will be good.
After all, this is how I spend the majority of my time. This is what I write about and speak about and think about more than anything else, and when I see critics who seem to dislike the majority of what they cover, I am baffled. Why would you do this work if you genuinely dislike more than you like?

Good lines are fairly well copyrighted out and what is left is noxious or just plain bad. Eventually even the bad lines will be copyrighted out and the media itself will die or the laws will have to be changed.
So for now we are stuck with toxic movies like "Noah" and "Maleficent" (Malevolent + Magnificent). Where Noah wants to kill his unborn child and True Loves kiss is from a Demon (read fairy in the story) who wears horns and black crows wings.
I didn’t think The Judge was all that bad. I’d certainly seen worse over the course of the year and that didn’t include any of the other ones on the list.
I’ve heard that the Judge wasn’t that bad. We saw Gone Girl,Fury Dawn of the planet of the Apes and the Theory Of Everything. We enjoyed all of them.
My daughter and I enjoyed The Judge. Our only complaint was that Billy Bob Thorton looked emaciated and that was distracting. If the script was bad, I didn’t notice- Downey and Duval are such good actors I was focused more on their acting.
Intersting.
I have only even heard of one of these films.
I’ve stopped going to movies. Life is better.
Saw a review on Horrible Bosses 2 that lambasted it. Went to see the flick and I thought it was pretty good. Chris Pine was really funny and I think he’s a good young actor. When I look at rotten tomatoes for reviews, I pay more attention to what the audience rates it than what the ‘experts’ rate it.
We’ll see Unbroken,The Imitation Game and Mr.Turner after Christmas.
Looking forward to The Imitation Game. I’m just hoping they don’t lay on the gay angle too thickly, or at all.
Stop wasting a day's pay on movie theaters. Wait for the movie in question to air on tv and switch the channel if it's rotten.
He’s looked like death warmed over for years. No, warmed over doesn’t look that bad. Nor does death.
Saw "Gone Girl" which was not at all bad; certainly didn't see that ending coming. I enjoyed "The Equalizer" more. I have to agree with someone's opinion of "Jack Ryan, Shadow Recruit" but that was the boyfriends choice and not mine. "Intersteller" was OK, but too long. Going to see "The Theory of Everything" this weekend and we both can't wait for that Bennedict Cumberbatch movie to come out. I think we'll work in the latest Hobbit movie in there somwhere as well.
I haven’t seen any of the movies on this list.
I'd rather catch a Randolph Scott flick that I've seen many times on the Encore western channel.
if there’s anything i actually do decide to see, i buy a lightly used dvd later on.
It was a fun, silly space story. For what it was it was great.
Captain America is the movie I found surprising this year....I can not believe Hollywood made it because of the politics in it and what it was really preaching...not because of any special movie making.
Out of all the movies this year those two stood out for me....tells you how awful movies were this year. I can not remember another such bad year in movie making. I have never fidgeted through movies before, this year I could barely stay seated through most movies and there were some I would have loved to leave if I was not with others.
