Russia's ruble plunged to an all-time low against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday, despite the Russian central bank's stunning move to hike interest rates to 17 percent in an effort to support the currency.

It would seem very probable!
They’ll bomb Saudi Arabia first. It would permanently adjust the price of oil upward. Why would you mess with Israel when they could retaliate on Russia with nuclear weapons?
Bombing KSA would be cheaper. Much cheaper. Even though the 4th Armored Div is in Saudi Arabia, Obola wouldn’t retaliate.
Not a chance.
I agree that the US won’t lift a finger for Israel, but backing Iran against the KSA makes sense. Iran is Shiite. The only way they are going to go along with what Russia’s doing is if it means taking out Iran’s number one political, cultural, and military competitor.
Nobody cares about Israel right now, except Syria. Natural gas is everywhere. It’s oil that’s key.
The ONLY way I’d attack Israel is if I had the entire region sewed up first. They’d be the last item on the to do list.
I agree that it’s going to happen. I just disagree about the order. If the KSA stopped pumping tomorrow, the price would snap back within a month, probably much sooner.
Militarily, it presents the least amount of risk. Remember that the ENTIRE point of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was the eventual invasion and conquest of the KSA.
Putin’s not going to make the same mistake the Soviets made. He will take out the KSA and let the Iranians occupy them. There is NO HOPE that the Russians could occupy. The reason why it all makes sense is because ultimately, the problem in the middle east is Sunni v Shiite. Secure Mecca for the Shiites, wipe out the Saudi Royal Family, and stabilize the worldwide oil supply around Russian protection of Iranian oil supply routes.
It’s a flip of the US/KSA alliance. Bet that the US won’t defend the KSA, bomb out the Saudis, let the Iranians invade and let Obola defend the 4th Armored Div going to war against the invading Iranian troops and tanks.
From a supply line perspective, its a no-brainer. Russia and Iran share a border.
I’ll bet a good bottle of whiskey that there are more than just missiles headed for Syria coming across that border. I’d bet that there are tanks, trucks, and other material coming across at the moment.
I’ll bet dollars to donuts that there are Iranians learning how to work Russian tanks right now too.
The weird thing about all of this is that Valerie Jarrett is Iranian, as is Huma Abedin, Hillary’s bag lady.
The Iranians hate the Saudis worse than they do the Jews. Only slightly worse, but worse nonetheless.
It is SO much easier pushing Israel into the sea when you control the entire Eastern frontier of Israel.
Iran will invade through an Iraq that can’t even handle ISIL at the moment, and possibly through Kuwait.
Putin invaded Georgia way back when for a reason. How fast could Putin establish a supply line through Georgia into Iran.
Iran will attack through southern Iraq, drive down through Riyadh, and onto Medina and Mecca. Once they’ve hardened their positions, they’ll fortify.
Then they’ll come after Jordan and Israel.
From the Shiite’s perspective, why not use the infidel to knock out the Sunnis, and then spend your time worrying about the infidel? You’ll eventually beat the infidel - that’s in the prophecy. What is NOT in the prophesy is whether the world is Shiite or Sunni.
Sort that out, then deal with the infidel.
It’s going to be interesting. With both Georgia and Ukraine, they have felt like dry runs for Putin.
We’ll see what happens now that Putin has been backed into a corner economically. The KSA would not be doing this if they didn’t feel they had to.
