Oh, please. Prove it. Go ahead and inject yourself with live raw influenza virus and see what happens. All the Vitamin D in the world isn’t going to kill influenza virus. Religiously washing your hands and not exposing yourself is what will keep you from catching the flu. Of course, there’s always a flu shot. You may educate yourself on influenza and the flu shot here:

Sorry. It has worked quite well for 9 years for me, my family and a number of friends and acquaintances. I realize that it "can't work" but just by pure lucky coincidence we all stay flu and cold free. My wife, the primary school teacher, stopped getting virii when she started on the D-3. She had been getting flu shots every year and also numerous cases of flu and colds from the kids. Now she gets neither the shot nor the virus. One of the doctors I see (Medicare) uses it but says he can't recommend it because of legal reasons. He doesn't take the shots either.
Anyone who would inject himself with flu virus or anything else unnecessary is simply not smart, or if smart, not sane. If you enjoy the secure feeling of an injection, go ahead.

P.S. I work in a shipyard and don't do much "handwashing" there and am around people with sniffles and coughs all winter.

Of course, I can't "prove it." I don't have a medical lab and am not equipped to do a study of thousands of cases. 100% of a dozen or so cases is sufficient indication to me that the results I experience are such as to indicate that it is worthwhile to proselytize it to people I care about. If you and I were neighbors I would happily wager it with you. You might try researching it. I was skeptical when I heard about it and looked it up on the net. I tried it first because it is cheap and D-3 is certainly not toxic. I suppose someone somewhere must be allergic to it, there are folks who cannot tolerate sunshine. I've read about such but never run into one.
