I can’t believe what you and a few other posters on this thread have posted, you could care less if a Biblical movie corrupts people’s minds or not. Your mistake is seeing no difference between a movie about the Bible and movies about everything else.
The word of God, in this case the book of Exodus, is not for your entertainment, sir. It is to “make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus,” 2 Tim. 3:15.
Exodus with other Old Testament books, give the history of Israel, a special people chosen of God, Not an end unto itself, but a history that lead us ultimately to Christ Jesus the savior. Without which you are eternally lost.
It doesn’t matter to you if these movie makers corrupt that all important historical link to Christ, the book of Exodus?
As for myself, I haven’t seen the movie, nor will I, after reading the comments made here and elsewhere about it. .
I don't conduct my daily life by only doing what others tell me to do, you included. If that is how you operate, more power to you. I choose to make up my own mind.
Hm, why couldn't it be used as a hook into evangelization? Take someone who shows a little interest then after the movie see if they'd be up for a little bible-study to compare/contrast the movie with the Bible.

Yes, and this is why religious-people should take advantage of secular interest to show and share Jesus.
