An absurd comment. A world-wide effort to stop "global warming" would require massive political coordination, probably of a near-totalitarian sort, and would have a tremendous impact on the world economy and on the economies of individual countries. His comment is like saying, "We need to eradicate cancer free from any medical or scientific influence."
