The restaraunt guy sounds like the Chinese business that I deal with in china for purchases, everything seems fine until they make a mistake or send you damaged goods, then the “game” is on.

They just will not just make it right.

I have seen a number of retailers cheat our forum members for minor amounts and then get kicked off the very sites of the hobbyists that they need to sell their product to and be badmouthed by the entire customer base, it is bizarre.

They will do the back and forth game, forever, days, weeks, even months as happened to me, and in a circular fashion, they will go down a path to a point, and then start back at the beginning, wearing you down over a minor refund or adjustment.

It used to be the American way, 'buyer beware'.

If you have a gripe on price or quality, don't do any more business with them. They'll quickly go belly up.

But now, too many want to run to court, the last place you'll find justice.
