If it is that bad, consider a Nissen fundoplication.

It can be done with a laparoscope. Recovery time is a couple of weeks.

Ask your doctor.

had that done to me 19 yrs ago. there are side effects but easy to manage

I fundoplicated in a Toyota, years ago... what’s the advantage of doing it in a Datsun?
