They were double checking for esophageal cancer, stomach cancer or other as it has a high incidence in smokers and what else has he smoked in his life...
If he had anything serious - they wouldn’t tell us anyway...
But we can wish.
Barry, take a Pepcid. LOL!
I already have osteoporosis. Had it years before the reflux. I’ll keep my Omneprazole since I can actually sleep now.
had that done to me 19 yrs ago. there are side effects but easy to manage
**** “Generally, I ate when I got home, then went to sleep not long after. It catches up with you.” *****
For the last 20+ years food is “How” I go to sleep ... otherwise I watch the sun come up 2 or 3 days in a row, I eat one meal per day and it is at bed time, it may not be ideal, but it works.
TT
I think some things have been stuck in his throat over the years.
Dodging the former DC mayor’s funeral? Now that is a real interesting possibility.
Ooookay. What does your post #2 suggest?
I had eye muscle surgery on 11/7. Have been back to my surgeon a few times so she could use tweezers to stretch them. Have another appt Wednesday. Will have to have more surgeries after the 1st before my eye is in focus with the other one. Seeing double for over a year was no fun at all. Do not want anything else done until this is over. My vision is better but still have double vision problem every now and then.
If he was seriously ill, would he tell us? Would the media pressure him to tell the truth?
I wonder if it is the Nicorette Gum he has probably used for years now. I think it may have caused my chronic acid reflux.
>> consider a Nissen fundoplication.
I fundoplicated in a Toyota, years ago... what’s the advantage of doing it in a Datsun?
Anyone really believe it was acid reflux? You don’t need a work up for that. Change your diet, don’t eat at night and sleep with your head a bit higher. Something else is going on with him. How much are we on the hook for?
Stop the Tums. It actually causes more of the problem.
“His mother Stanley Ann Dunham was a heavy smoker. She died of cancer at a relatively young age, not quite 53.”
I smoke-—I’m 82.
Something’s going to get us no matter what we do.
.
Two years later and a relative still has all sorts of problems from the surgery. Kidneys shut down. Constant infections. Blood pressure bottoms out, etc.
I haven’t had to do the baking soda, Roland’s, tums, etc thing for years now.
Yes, he is POTUS, but I think the level of tests seem a bit excessive. Under Obamacare treatment protocols (death panels) I doubt any of us peons would get those tests for a sore throat. After our 10 minute visit with a physicians assistant we would be sent home and told to gargle with salt water or for acid reflux be told to buy some antacid tablets
