Is there a statute of limitations for civil suits? I thought that was just for criminal cases.

I’m not sure. My son was roughed up badly by some cops a couple years ago. He lost his chance to file a civil suit after one year.

On the other hand, you have the Catholic Church paying out awards from law suits against minors who were molested.

How in the heck is Gloria Allwrong going to prove Cosby did anything? Why would he be so stupid at this point to admit anything or pay anything to anyone?

This whole thing...including the issue at Ferguson and now in New York is about money....

Had the grand jury indicted the cops, then that would certainly add to the quality of civil suit. There still might be one in both cases against the police depts., and the New York case on the surface looks bad...but

How are they going to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Cosby did anything, and how are they going to prove damages?

These women were probably paid by Cosby royally.
