Actually the Damage Control training facility in Groton was a lot of fun. Running around getting soaked by freezing cold water trying to repair leaks even though terribly cold was fun.
Having read a lot of post here with negative feelings about us bubbleheads is kind of distressing.
I didn’t mean to imply submariners didn’t enjoy the training. I just doubt most women could meet the traditional standards.
Also, I’ve no problems with submariners or any other niche within our nations Armed Forces; thank you for your service my friend!
