Passing through the lil town of Montgomery, Texas comes a rollin this gigantic MRAP complete with gun turret.
Just shook my head, why the F does the Montgomery co. sheriffs office need a piece of military equipment like this. Just ridiculous.
They have the bearcat swat vans, surveillance drones...two of which they’ve crashed. One against their swat van during a boy’z and their toy’z photo op all dressed so cute in their black clad. The other crashed in the big drink of Lake Conroe, TX. to the tune of $250k each.
Where they used to have mounted in their cruisers shotguns, now fully automatic AR15’s. Many strut around in military grade body armor with vest containing multiple magazines wrapped around their bodies.
I think it’s way overboard for civilian law enforcement. I’ve met one of the swat guyz, lives in the neighborhood. The guy has cocky just oozing out of his pores.

And why should they take care of them? It’s not *their* money, it’s the mundane’s money that they waste.
