I remember those when I was a little kid.
There used to be a place in Chicago that had a set up.
I never got to go inside, or even watch through the window :(
I did get my own set when I was a little kid. Probably about 7 years old.
Then, back around 1970, I got one of these.
I had the Backfire, Mustang Boss 302, Spoil Sport and Firebird Trans Am

Must have been 35 years ago (or more) when a bunch of clowns "kidnapped" Big Boy from the Bob's on Cape Cod.
IIRC, he was eventually returned unharmed.

We had something like that...Casa Mañana.
Not in Dallas, you didn't.
Will Rogers liked Ft. Worth better too. So --there. Take that.

Now I’ve got to go into the attic and break out my Hot Wheels.
Back in the early 60’s, My friends & I were all toy “motor-heads”, read “Hot Rod” magazine, and thought the latest James Bond trick cars were the coolest things ever. Let’s not forget Bid Daddy Roth.

There’s still a track around here. It’s a little dingy, but they’ll rent you a beat-up loaner if you just want to dabble.

My older sister use to drag me along to her "Sock Hops".
It was a two story building where all the teenagers danced 'upstairs' but young kids had to go downstairs and play or dance on the concrete floor. I hated it! LOLOL

We live in a 100+ year old house and our kitchen has those horrid metal cabinets. LOL! I guess they were the nazz back in the day but I’d sure love to get rid of them.

I use to love my sisters poodle skirt outfit....unfortunately I lived in the "shadow" of my very popular sister. She and her friends use to sing Pat Ballard songs on the neighbors porch. ....'Love Letters in the Sand" and the like.....their boy friends use to tell me my mother was calling me! ..LoLoLoL

Just checked your link and neat pix you’ve collected. They bring back a lot of memories.
But durn it, they make me think about how old I am, and I try so hard to forget. LOL!
