Sometimes when I’m watching a WD episode for the first time, I don’t pick up on everything because I’m so hyped up and nervous, so it takes a second viewing to catch some details. Last night we rewound and watched the trade/death scene again, and I shook my head at the pointlessness of it. Beth pretty much committed suicide.
I did get emotional over the group’s reactions, especially Maggie’s. That killed me, and I’m going to have some hard watching ahead of me as she grieves her sister’s death.
I just saw the episode tonight. I cried like Daryl Dixon when he saw his brother Merle.
Yes, Beth committed suicide, but she tried suicide once before, so it was not out of character.
I’d like to see Maggie kill them all
