I hope we don’t see TWD going the way of Doctor Who and Torchwood under Russ Davies: constantly beating the homo drums.

I recall reading last year (right here on FR’s TWD thread) that the actor who played Herschel got picked up for DUI in Atlanta during shooting, and THAT was the reason Herschel got written out of the series.

With that tidbit in mind, what did Emily do to get fired?

Not sure why she was written off the show. She was on the follow up show, Talking Dead, and could not keep back her tears :(

She’s a talented actress and will certainly have plenty of other opportunities.

I'm definitely not on board with the queer thing. I don't want it in my face, I don't want to see it at all. That said, I'm relieved they aren't going to make Daryl queer, at least.

I don't think she did anything...I think they just figured her storyline was over. They clearly wanted to bring Beth front and center, and mold her into a bad###.

I remember Scott Wilson's DUI. I never heard that was the reason he was written out...actually I doubt it was. I don't think liberal writers would blink an eye at such a thing; they'd be more likely to laugh at it. Wilson was on TD with Kirkman the night Hershel was killed, and Kirkman said something like, "You should have fought harder for us to keep your character on the show." (Moron). I could be wrong, though.

I remember it was either Norman Reedus or Emily Kinney who said they tried moonshine for the first time at Scott Wilson's house, LOL.
