Yes. Losing Herschel was devastating (in the sense of a tv series).

Losing Beth is sad, but not as much of a loss. Kwim? I think she was considered expendable. Unfortunately.

May we all never be considered expendable in a TV series (or in life).

There were certain things about Beth which irked me. I think I like the actress more than the character.

I'm still trying to figure out why Beth thought it was a good move to try and stab Dawn with a pair of small scissors. There they were, with two factions on hairtriggers and ready to kill each other. She could have precipitated a firefight that would have left all of her people dead. It was just very stupid. And the scissors didn't even go in---they were hanging off Dawn's uniform.
