I am more disgusted every time I hear about abortion. I cannot believe these people are STILL getting away with murdering innocent babies.

Even worse, women fall for the lie of abortion.

I think what's going on is they don't see abortion in terms of the baby, the new life getting started, but in terms of the mother's life and the impediments and restrictions now placed on it by the pregnancy. They believe a pregnant woman is less human than a nonpregnant one, and aborting a pregnancy is a way of giving a woman her humanity back (making her "equal" to men who do not and cannot get pregnant). I'm not saying it makes rational sense, it's all twisted emotion.

In the 2007 movie "Waitress" Keri Russell plays a young wife in an abusive marriage she plans to flee as soon as possible. When she discovers she's pregnant, she at first resents the pregnancy (calling the baby an "invader" and a "tumor") that puts a halt to those plans, but she decides to leave her husband and keep the baby.

What's nice is that we get to see her character work through all these emotions by writing letters to her baby as she awaits the birth.

I don't know where that idea that a pregnant woman is "less than human" first came up.
