Yep the bank account awakens.
I’ve heard that they often reach the point of diminishing returns with sequels, prequels, and reboots of franchises. Not to over simplify, but its like these reboots and sequels just aren’t the same. Doesn’t tell the story the same way, doesn’t leave you with the same feelings as the originals. Just my opinion that I have been disappointed by many sequels and reboots.
But its undeniable that the bank accounts benefit when Hollywood does this, because you have a built in fan base of these movies.
