How did the dog eat and drink to survive for those months the jug was on its head?

“She and her family spent weeks trying to catch him.”

How can you NOT out-manuever a dog with his head stuck in a jug?

Audra Bohannon I took him food in the same spot for two months. It was scraps and canned food. Anything soft. I actually caught him once before and he got away. He was slowly starving but he was eating just enough to live.

According to her facebook page, prior to the story being picked up by the news, she was leaving food out for the dog, but could not catch him.

The pup should have experienced *some* growth during those months. Where are the markings/scars on the pups face where the jug *dug into* the pup’s head?

We’ve all seen pictures of dogs who grow up with too-tight collars, resulting in the collar growing into the flesh (and requiring surgical removal).

An object stuck on for months should *at least* leave marks.
