Yes, I've described in numerous previous posts how the Bored of Ed is trying to drive all the veteran teachers out of the system in a stupid scheme to save money and get rid of all the tenured teachers. They waste hundreds of millions of dollars on lamebrain computer programs that do not work, multiple layers of lawyers for "gotcha" cases of no merit, consultants from other countries trying to tell veteran teachers how to teach (especially laughable--they have no clue about our culture or urban youth), but do not want to keep experienced veteran teachers in the classroom.
The harassment and intimidation to force us out are endless. This is your gold watch after 25-30 years of service to the kids of the city: Get the heck out and don't let the screen door hit you in the behind.
