Just heard about that and although it's an escalation that occurred well after my initial post, I still hope that the officer survives and the perp is apprehended and incarcerated, or better still, hunted down and exterminated if the situation warrants it.

In all honesty, it certainly can get worse in the near future, but after all of the proclamations we've been subjected to over the last several weeks from those who were attempting to influence the Grand Jury along with those who were truly angered at the situation, I was expecting much worse, by orders of magnitude, than what we've been witnessing tonight, and I apologize to anyone who feels that I am trivializing the events occurring this evening, as that is not my intention.
